Seth has been a collector since before 1998 when Pokémon just started becoming a well established brand in the US. His first memory of collecting TCG cards was when his grandmother gave him several packs of Japanese Topsun cards that came with a unique flavor of chewing gum. While the gum was great, the cards immediately hooked him in to the realm of Pokémon and other anime and TCG cards.
While in college at Portland State University, he took an intermission from collecting cards to focus in on his Bachelors, and later his Masters Degree in International Business.
Later in life, his first born son brought him back to the hobby. While the card market had changed dramatically, he dedicated what little free time he had to learning more about the cards of today and the value of the past.
He developed a keen eye for growing trends and opportunity in the card market, and uses his vast business sense and in-depth research to provide opportunities to educate other collectors, help them collect responsibly, and provide a safe community where customer service is like talking to a best friend who always has your back.
